Train the Mind with Touch

I've noticed that after my clients experience a difficult or emotional moment, and we then journey together to a more positive feeling, they tend to place their hand on a part of their body in this moment of happiness, relief, or celebration.  Most often, it seems to be the heart.

Try noticing, in moments when you are happy, does your hand go to your heart, your head, your gut?  In moments of difficulty, try to recall that "happy space" by placing your hand back on your heart, head,...as a tactile reconnection with your positive feelings.
